Automated User Signatures for Vouchers

I want every sales voucher leaving our system—whether it ends up printed or emailed—to carry the correct user-specific signature without anyone having to paste or sign manually. We issue both paper and digital vouchers, so the solution must handle both paths seamlessly.

Here is the flow I’m after: once a user finalises a voucher, the system recognises who they are and drops in their signature automatically. For digital vouchers the signature can be a clean, typed representation of their name; for paper vouchers the same text should print in the signature area so the document is ready for filing or handing to the customer.

You may connect this functionality to our existing voucher module, extend our print template, or introduce a lightweight middleware layer—whichever is fastest to deploy and easiest to maintain. My key requirement is that signatures are assigned by user login with zero manual steps.

Deliverables
• Code or configuration that injects the correct typed signature into the voucher template (digital and print)
• Simple interface or mapping table where I can add/edit users and their signature text
• Brief setup notes so my team can replicate the installation on a second server

Acceptance criteria
• Voucher preview displays the correct signature as soon as the voucher is generated
• Printed copy mirrors the preview exactly
• Adding a new user and signature takes no more than two minutes without code changes
