I’m ready to take my brick-and-mortar range online and need a developer who can create a fully automated shopping experience that places Islamic products at the heart of the store while leaving room for natural therapy and other general items later on.
Core catalogue
The first launch will focus on two key categories:
• Books and literature—Qur’an copies, tafsir, children’s titles and contemporary works
• Prayer mats and accessories—premium sajjada, travel mats, tasbih and miswak
Essential shopping journey
Visitors should immediately see personalised product recommendations, be able to opt into a subscription service for regularly-needed items (for instance, monthly miswak bundles or book-of-the-month club), and leave verified customer reviews that appear on both product pages and a dedicated testimonials section.
Platform & flow
Whether you prefer WooCommerce, Shopify, Laravel, or another well-supported stack, I need:
• A clean, mobile-first storefront with multilingual readiness (English to start, Arabic later)
• Secure checkout that supports major cards and PayPal from day one, with Stripe or local gateways easily added later
• Simple stock management and order tracking in the back-end so I can fulfil orders without touching code
• SEO-friendly URL and schema structures to help the store rank for Islamic book and prayer mat keywords
Acceptance criteria
1. Live site passes Google PageSpeed 85+ on mobile and desktop.
2. Product recommendation block shows relevant items based on at least two attributes (e.g., category + recent views).
3. Subscriptions can be created, paused and cancelled by customers in their account area.
4. New reviews trigger an email notification and require approval before publishing.
5. Full handover includes source files, admin credentials and a short video walkthrough.
If you have a ready-to-deploy theme or prefer a custom build, let me know your approach and timeline so we can move forward quickly.
