I want to turn my existing day-trading rules into a fully automated bot that will place live buy and sell orders for me. The logic is already tested manually; what I need now is code that can execute it in real time, watch positions constantly, and close them the moment my exit conditions are met.
Key elements I expect:
• Real-time market data feed and order execution through a reputable brokerage API (Interactive Brokers, Alpaca, or another you suggest).
• Parameter-driven strategy file so I can adjust entry/exit thresholds without touching the core code.
• Safety features—position sizing limits, max daily loss cutoff, and a kill switch I can trigger instantly.
• Simple dashboard or CLI log so I can monitor open positions, P&L, and recent trades at a glance.
• Clean, well-commented source code plus a brief README explaining setup, config variables, and how to start/stop the bot.
Every trade must be submitted, amended, and closed automatically according to my rules with no manual clicks required. A short live demo on a paper account will serve as acceptance that the bot is working as intended.
