I run a service-based company where too many day-to-day inventory tasks are still handled by hand. The resulting bottlenecks slow our operations and make it hard to scale, so I’m looking for a developer who can design and implement a technology solution that automates our entire inventory-management flow.
What I need
• A streamlined system—web, desktop or mobile—that records stock movements in real time, updates quantities automatically, and issues low-stock alerts.
• Easy integration with our existing billing platform through REST or GraphQL APIs so we never have to re-enter data.
• Role-based dashboards for staff and managers, giving each team member exactly the information they need.
• Exportable reports (PDF/Excel) for weekly and monthly reviews.
• A clean, modern UI/UX that minimises training time.
• Scalability for future modules such as customer service or financial reporting, which we may add later.
I’m open to the tech stack—Laravel, Django, .NET, Node, React, Vue, Flutter or similar—as long as you justify your choice for reliability, security and long-term maintainability.
Timeline & collaboration
Please outline how long you’ll need for discovery, prototyping, development, testing and hand-over. I’d like an incremental rollout with milestones tied to functional demos.
Acceptance criteria
1. Live demo on your staging server showing automated inventory updates and alerting.
2. Source code in a private repo, well-documented and commented.
3. Deployment guide plus a brief training session (recorded).
4. Six-week post-launch bug-fix window.
When you reply, include:
• Your recommended architecture and tools.
• Relevant projects you’ve delivered that centred on inventory or process automation.
• Questions you need answered before finalising scope.
Looking forward to a practical, scalable and cost-effective solution that lets my team finally ditch the spreadsheets.
