Audit & Simplify Full-Stack Platform

I recently inherited a web + mobile platform that lives in GitHub and is deployed through Vercel with Cloudflare in front. Everything runs, but the architecture feels overly complex and the camera/gallery upload feature fails intermittently. Before we add new features, I need a clear, lean foundation.
Here’s what I need from you during this short, fixed-price engagement:
• Map the current setup end-to-end—repos, environments, connected services, databases, file storage, and the release paths for iOS/TestFlight and Android.
• Trace and document the intermittent upload failure so I know exactly where it breaks and why.
• Pinpoint any duplicated or undocumented pieces in the backend services and API integrations, then recommend removals or refactors.
• Deliver concise, step-by-step setup and deployment documentation that lets a new developer (or future me) spin everything up without guesswork.
Acceptance criteria: a clear architecture diagram, a reproducible explanation (or fix) for the upload issue, a list of duplicated/undocumented code areas, and a README-style guide that works on a clean machine.
You’ll need solid full-stack instincts plus hands-on experience with GitHub workflows, Vercel, Cloudflare, API design, databases, file storage, and mobile release tooling. Independent freelancers only—no agencies. If this audit goes smoothly, I’ll have follow-on work ready.
