My home-office line is pulling well over 100 Mbps straight from the modem, yet every device that passes through my ASUS router tops out between 25 Mbps and 45 Mbps. I need this bottleneck gone today.
The job is a straight-forward troubleshooting session focused on the router itself. I strongly suspect something in the current settings—QoS, NAT acceleration, wireless mode, channel width, or even a buried bandwidth cap—is holding the speed back, but I’m open to anything you find. Cabling checks, firmware updates, and interference tests are all on the table if they help us reach full throughput.
Phone availability is non-negotiable; when I call, I expect to reach you or get a prompt call-back so we can walk through changes in real time. A quick remote session via TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or similar is fine as long as you can guide me verbally while we work.
