Architectural Drafting for Residential Properties

Project Overview:

I am looking for a creative freelancer with experience creating simple, architectural, drafting, or technical drawings to help document my home and cottage properties.

The goal is to convert my photos, measurements, and rough hand-drawn sketches into professional-looking technical drawings and floor plans that accurately represent the properties.

Scope of Work

The project will include:

Interior floor plans for the home and cottage

Exterior property drawings and layouts

Technical drawings of outdoor structures, including:

-Sheds
-Outdoor staircases
-Decks and platforms
-Accurate dimensions and measurements throughout the drawings
-Detailed stair measurements, including lengths, widths, rises, and runs where applicable
-Clean, organized, and professional presentation suitable for planning, documentation, and contractor reference

What I Will Provide:

-Photos of all relevant areas and structures
-Measurements and dimensions
-Rough sketches and notes
-Sample drawings/renderings showing the style and level of detail I am looking for

Deliverables:

-Professionally drafted floor plans
-Technical drawings of outdoor structures
-Dimensioned layouts with clearly labeled measurements
-Editable source files (preferred) and PDF versions

Ideal Freelancer:

-Some experience with architectural drafting, floor plans, or technical drawings
-Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Chief Architect, or similar software
-Able to work from photos, measurements, and rough sketches
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Good communication and ability to ask questions when clarification is needed

-Please include examples of similar floor plan or architectural drafting work you have completed, if you have any.
