ARCGIS Floodplain Mapping & Analysis

I need a GIS specialist to build a detailed topographic map of my project site and then delineate the 50-year and 100-year floodplain limits. The study area covers more than 5 square miles, so the workflow must handle a fairly large dataset without sacrificing accuracy.

Here’s what I expect:

• Create a clean, georeferenced elevation surface in ArcGIS Pro (or ArcMap) from the data I will supply.
• Run a floodplain analysis that clearly distinguishes the 50-year and 100-year boundaries, with all assumptions and parameters documented.
• Supply final deliverables as an editable ArcGIS project with layer files, a printable PDF map at 1” = 400’ scale, and accompanying metadata that explains methods, coordinate system, and source data.

I’ll review the work based on:
– Visual accuracy of contours and flood limits when spot-checked on screen.
– Consistency between model settings and the written methodology.
– Ability to load the geodatabase without broken links.
