Apple Wallet/PassKit SaaS Expert

PROJECT TITLE:

Full-Stack Apple Wallet / PassKit SaaS Developer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a senior Full-Stack Developer with proven hands-on experience in Apple Wallet / PassKit to take over and continue developing an existing multi-tenant SaaS platform for digital loyalty cards, memberships, sessions, gift vouchers, and events.

This is an existing platform, not a new build.

The work will be completed in phases. The first engagement is a complete technical audit, project handover verification, and system stabilization. The successful developer may continue with us long-term to implement the remaining roadmap.

Please bid for Phase 1 only. Do not quote the entire roadmap as one fixed-price project before reviewing the existing code.

PHASE 1 — TECHNICAL AUDIT & HANDOVER

The developer must review and verify:

* Full source code and repositories
* Backend
* Database and current production database dump
* Business dashboard and admin dashboard
* APIs
* Hosting and server configuration
* Firebase
* Apple Wallet certificates
* Environment variables and API keys
* Current integrations
* Security and access permissions
* Existing bugs and technical debt

Initial deliverables:

1. Successfully run the project locally or on staging.
2. Verify that all required code, database files, services, and accounts have been handed over.
3. Review the existing database structure and application architecture.
4. Perform a security and code-quality review.
5. Identify bugs, missing components, outdated dependencies, and technical risks.
6. Deliver a written technical audit report.
7. Provide a prioritized action plan for the next milestones.
8. Provide separate time and cost estimates for each approved milestone.

Critical fixes discovered during the audit will be agreed and priced separately before implementation.

CORE DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP

After the audit, the selected developer may continue with the following phases:

1. MULTI-BUSINESS / WALLET STRUCTURE

Required structure:

Business → Customer → Programs / Cards

Each Wallet pass must be connected to:

* business_id
* customer_id
* program_id
* unique serialNumber

Requirements:

* Correct multi-business separation
* Prevent duplicate customers and duplicate cards
* Allow one customer to join multiple programs
* Avoid recreating the same customer for every program
* Correct Subscriber / Customer statuses
* Secure tenant-level data separation
* Update installed Apple Wallet passes without asking customers to add them again

2. CUSTOMER FIELDS & ENROLLMENT PAGE

Each business must be able to configure its customer fields as:

* Required
* Optional
* Hidden

Fields may include:

* Full Name
* Mobile Number
* Email
* Gender
* Birthday
* Custom fields in a future phase

Each business must also be able to customize its enrollment page:

* Logo
* Background
* Welcome text
* Colors
* Form fields
* Button design
* Terms and conditions

After registration, the customer can add the card to Apple Wallet.

3. APPLE WALLET PASS IMPROVEMENTS

* Improved front layout
* Better stamp icon sizing and spacing
* Improved QR/barcode positioning
* Dynamic fields based on the program
* Back of pass information
* Business contact details
* Terms
* Social links
* Location
* Current stamps, points, balance, sessions, or membership information

4. CARD DETAILS / SUBSCRIBER WEB PAGE

A responsive web page separate from the Wallet pass that automatically adapts to the program type.

It should include:

* Card preview
* Add to Apple Wallet
* Latest message
* Current card details
* Rewards, stamps, or points
* Sessions and membership information
* Gift voucher information
* Address and phone number
* Google Maps
* Social media links
* Share option
* Last updated time

The page should include bottom navigation:

Preview | Coupons

Coupons must be separated automatically into:

* Usable
* Redeemed
* Expired

An appropriate empty state must appear when no coupons are available.

FUTURE PRODUCT FEATURES

5. SESSIONS / SUBSCRIPTIONS

* Create session or membership packages
* Set total sessions, start date, and expiry date
* Scan and redeem individual sessions
* Display total, used, and remaining sessions
* Maintain a complete redemption history
* Record the responsible staff member

6. GIFT VOUCHERS

Support two voucher types:

A. Service Voucher

* Multiple separately stored services
* Redeem each service individually
* Support quantities such as Massage ×3
* Partial redemption
* Active, Partially Redeemed, Fully Redeemed, and Expired statuses
* Redeeming one service must not redeem the entire voucher

B. Value Voucher

* Original monetary value
* Staff enters the amount used during each visit
* Automatically calculate the remaining balance
* Allow partial use across multiple visits
* Maintain redemption history, amount, balance, date, and staff member

7. WHATSAPP DELIVERY & COMMUNICATION

WhatsApp will be used as a delivery and communication channel, while the core platform remains responsible for voucher, pass, customer, and redemption management.

Future uses include:

* Send Wallet cards
* Send gift vouchers
* Reward notifications
* Stamp and points updates
* Session reminders
* Membership expiry reminders
* Event invitations and RSVP
* Event reminders and important updates

8. EVENTS SYSTEM

* Event creation
* Guest lists
* Branded invitation pages
* WhatsApp invitations

* Wallet invitation or ticket

WORKING REQUIREMENTS

* All code must be committed regularly to our repository.
* All source code, accounts, certificates, and deliverables must remain under our ownership.
* No production changes may be made without an approved backup and testing process.
* Major changes must be tested on staging first.
* All database changes and environment requirements must be documented.
* The developer must be comfortable working with and improving an existing codebase.
* Clear English communication and regular progress updates are required.
