Apple App Store + Google Play Subscription Free Trial Setup

We are looking for an experienced mobile subscription specialist to review our existing subscription setup and correctly implement a 1-month free introductory trial for our subscription-based mobile app on both:

Apple App Store / App Store Connect
Google Play / Google Play Console

Our app and subscriptions are already live. We are not looking for a new app build. This is a focused project involving subscription configuration, eligibility, testing, and verification.

Scope of Work

The selected freelancer will:

Review our current subscription configuration in App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
Confirm that our existing monthly subscription products are structured correctly.
Configure a 1-month free trial for eligible new subscribers.
Verify that after the trial:
The subscription automatically converts to our normal monthly price.
The customer is billed correctly unless they cancel.
Cancellation and expiration behavior works properly.
Review eligibility rules to ensure the introductory trial is only offered to the intended users.
Verify Apple subscription group configuration and introductory offer eligibility.
Verify Google Play subscription base plan and offer configuration.
Review any required subscription messaging/disclosures.
Test the complete subscription flow using:
Apple Sandbox / TestFlight
Google Play testing environment
Verify trial start, subscription status, cancellation, expiration, and conversion to paid subscription.
Provide a short written summary/documentation showing:
What was changed
How each platform is configured
Any existing issues discovered
Recommended next steps
RevenueCat

Experience with RevenueCat is strongly preferred.

We are currently evaluating RevenueCat for subscription management, analytics, paywalls, trial tracking, and future win-back offers.

This project does not necessarily require a full RevenueCat implementation, but we would like the freelancer to review our current setup and advise whether RevenueCat should be incorporated now or later.

Deliverables

The project will be considered complete when:

Apple 1-month introductory free trial is configured correctly.
Google Play 1-month free trial is configured correctly.
Trial eligibility has been verified.
Trial-to-paid conversion behavior has been tested.
Cancellation/expiration behavior has been tested.
Existing subscriptions continue functioning normally.
Any discovered subscription issues have been documented.
Final configuration has been reviewed with us.
Written documentation of the final setup has been provided.
Access & Security

We will provide appropriate user access to App Store Connect and Google Play Console.

We will not provide primary account passwords or transfer ownership of any accounts.

We are more interested in hiring someone with the correct subscription experience than selecting the lowest bid.

If the project goes well, there may be additional work involving RevenueCat, subscription analytics, paywall testing, win-back campaigns, reactivation offers, and subscription optimization.
