Android Social Network App Development -- 2

I’m ready to build a brand-new social networking experience focused solely on Android and I need end-to-end help, starting from the very first wireframe through to a polished release on Google Play. You’d guide me in shaping a lean MVP, design a clean material-style interface, and then code the app—preferably in Kotlin—for performance and future scalability.

Core scope
• Define feature set and user flow with me, keeping the initial release tight but compelling.
• Design high-fidelity UI/UX mock-ups that match Android guidelines.
• Develop the Android app (Kotlin or Java, though Kotlin is preferred) with a modular codebase and clear architecture (MVVM, Clean, or similar).
• Set up a lightweight backend (Firebase, Supabase, or a simple REST API) that handles authentication, real-time chat, push notifications, and basic media sharing.
• Integrate analytics and crash reporting for early user feedback.
• Assist with testing, debugging, and final Google Play deployment.

Acceptance criteria
1. APK installs cleanly on Android 8.0 + and passes Play Console pre-launch tests.
2. Login, profile creation, posting, and real-time chat work without crashes or major UI glitches.
3. Source code is documented, lint-clean, and delivered via Git.
4. A brief hand-off guide explains backend setup and how to build the project locally.

If you can also map a path for an eventual iOS or cross-platform version, that’s a plus, but the immediate focus is Android only. Let’s get this social app off the ground.
