Egocentric / POV Video Data Collection

We are hiring contributors for a large-scale first-person (egocentric/POV) video data collection project involving everyday household activities such as cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, organizing and similar practical tasks.

Compensation:
₹200 per accepted recording hour
Consistent contributors will have the opportunity to complete multiple hours of paid recordings.

What You'll Do
Using your own Android or iOS smartphone, you'll mount the phone securely on a lightweight head mount and record yourself completing normal household activities.
During the recording, you must provide clear English narration describing each action step-by-step, including which hand you are using.

For example:
“Using my right hand, I pick up the cup.”
“Using my left hand, I turn on the tap.”

Requirements
1. Android or iOS smartphone capable of recording 1080p video
2. Head-mounted smartphone holder
3. Clear spoken English
4. Both hands and the work area must remain visible
5. Stable, well-lit recordings
6. Ability to follow detailed recording guidelines
7. Reliable internet connection for uploading videos

Project Scale
We currently have approximately 1,000 hours of video collection available and are looking for contributors who can start immediately.
Detailed recording guidelines, sample videos and the acceptance checklist will be provided during onboarding.

Payment is based on accepted recording hours that meet the project guidelines.
