I’m embarking on the build of a brand-new social media app, starting with a focused Android release. The core goal is to create a polished, fully functional mobile experience—think standard news-feed interaction, user profiles, media posting, push notifications, and a clean, modern UI that feels instantly familiar to today’s social users.

Scope of work
• End-to-end Android development: planning, UI/UX design, coding (Kotlin or Java in Android Studio), basic QA, and deployment to Google Play.
• Back-end setup: real-time database, user authentication, and cloud storage. I’m open to Firebase, Supabase, or a lightweight custom REST API—whichever you recommend for speed and scalability.
• Essential social features: sign-up/login, profile editing, follow system, post creation (text, image, short video), likes/comments, and notifications.
• Admin console (simple web or in-app) so I can moderate content and view usage metrics.
• Handover: complete source code, build instructions, and one brief walkthrough call so I can maintain or extend the project later.

Nice-to-have (not required at this stage but good to keep in mind): theming/dark mode, basic analytics hooks, and groundwork for an eventual iOS port.

Please share a concise outline of your proposed tech stack, any similar apps you’ve shipped, and an estimated timeline. I value clean architecture, reusable components, and clear documentation, so highlight those strengths if they’re part of your workflow.

I’m ready to get started as soon as we agree on milestones and delivery dates—looking forward to seeing how you’d bring this Android-only social platform to life.
