Android E-commerce App Search Module

I’m building an Android-only e-commerce application and want to nail the browsing experience first. The core task is to create a smooth, responsive product-listing and search module. Shoppers must be able to explore the catalogue, type a query, and instantly refine results by ratings and reviews—you can treat that filter as mandatory.

If you have a clean way to layer in other filters or even lightweight recommendations later I’m open to it, but for this milestone I only need:

• Search bar with real-time suggestions
• Ratings & reviews slider or toggle to narrow results
• Pagination or lazy-load list so large inventories feel fast

Please implement in Kotlin (Android Studio), follow modern MVVM or similar architecture, and keep the codebase ready for future features like cart and checkout. Deliver the full project, clear README, and a short screen-capture demo showing the ratings filter in action.
