Android Application Latest Android compatible

I have a fully-functioning Android application that now needs a round of feature enhancement. The existing code compiles and runs, but I want fresh capabilities added and, while we are at it, a careful verification of the current implementation to be sure no hidden issues slip through.

Here is what I need you to do:
• Make application compatible to Latest Android version
• Verifying issue
• Bug Fixes
• Supply an updated APK, source commit, and concise change log so I can track exactly what was done. Automated unit tests for the new code are expected.

Acceptance criteria
1. Project builds without errors in the latest stable Android Studio.
2. All agreed functionalities work on Android 8.0+ devices.
3. No critical or high-priority warnings in Lint or Play Console pre-launch report.
4. Change log and test coverage are delivered alongside the final commit.
