Job OverviewThe Fleet Analyst provides analytical and operational support for operational leadership by developing, monitoring, and reporting fleet-related KPIs and performance metrics. This role partners with departmental personnel and leadership to deliver data-driven insights for vehicle lifecycle management, telematics administration, and compliance. Responsibilities include gathering, validating, and analyzing data from fleet management, telematics, fuel, and other business systems; developing dashboards, reports, and scorecards; and supporting informed decision-making. The Fleet Analyst also assists with vehicle registration and titling, asset tracking, maintenance scheduling, utilization monitoring, telematics administration, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Working closely with operations teams, maintenance providers, and vendors, this position supports fleet deployment, tracking, disposal, and issue resolution to ensure safe, reliable, andcost-effective fleet operations. The Fleet Analyst II independently manages moderate-complexity assignments, demonstrates foundational technical expertise, and works under general direction from leadership, supervisors, and teammates.Company Overview

Responsibilities

Maintain Driver Qualification Files: Ensure that each commercial vehicle driver's qualification file is current and complete, including necessary forms such as the DOT Driver’s Application Addendum and the Investigation of Employment Record

Compliance with DOT Regulations: Verify that drivers are not disqualified under DOT regulations and maintain a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence

Process Optimization: Redesign and optimize the workflow of the driver's files management process to eliminate redundancies and streamline procedures for improved efficiencies where available

Training and Education: Provide and attend comprehensive training with DOT personnel, drivers, and stakeholders on the management process, new systems, and technologies for enhanced compliance and efficiency

Audit Readiness: Prepare for and conduct internal audits to ensure all drivers have a file, are in the correct drug pool, and their vehicles are coded correctly, maintaining DOT audit readiness at all times

Technology Implementation: Review and implement centralized systems for managing DOT driver's files, including data storage, access controls, and reporting mechanisms

Maintain unit and driver tracking in the Company’s asset management and telematics systems

Maintain telematics system, inventory, and reporting for safety review, audit readiness, and compliance

Enter assets and disposal of assets in asset management system and telematics systems

Maintain daily or weekly equipment and vehicle changes to ensure reporting information is correct

Maintain registration, titling, reporting, reservation schedule, and routine maintenance scheduling for all local pool vehicles

Support coordination with insurance carrier and field employees, and other duties as required in support of fleet administration

Maintain communications with JJ Keller, or other third-parties to facilitate driver file auditing and compliance efforts

Coordinate activities with other Fleet/Equipment stakeholders to ensure proper Company notifications

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience in a related field

2 years experience in a transportation, procurement, fleet related or fleet compliance related field

Experience working with databases, fleet management systems, telematics platforms, ERP systems, or other business software applications

Experience working in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) or related software

Ability to learn and navigate different software applications

Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting for management and operational stakeholders

Knowledge of fleet maintenance practices, vehicle lifecycle management, fuel management, and asset tracking

Demonstrated ability to lead projects, improve business processes, and make recommendations based on data analysis

Strong customer service and communications skills

Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines

Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, adaptable to change, collaborative capable of working with internal and external business partners

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Asset Management Systems (EAM), Oracle and Power BI, or other cloud-based ERP systems

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, transportation, accounting, or similar field

Knowledge of oil and gas, supply chain, energy, utility, or construction related products and services

Experience with data integrity, analytics, validation, and reporting

Other Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to interact with multiple levels of business and technical personnel and to resolve problems in a timely manner

Must be able to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers of goods and services

Active learner, initiative-taker and motivated

Ability to travel (less than 10% on average) by car and/or plane

License and InsurabilityA valid driver’s license and insurability under company policy are required
