Looking for an Experienced Amazon & Book Marketing Specialist
I’m looking for an experienced professional who has hands-on experience in author branding, Amazon seller, and book marketing, specifically within the fiction and novel-publishing industry.
I’m not looking for a general digital marketer or someone who has only worked with products on Amazon. I need someone who understands the book-publishing ecosystem and has previously worked with authors, novels, or independent publishers.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in the following areas:
1. Author Branding & Positioning
- Building a distinctive and professional author brand.
- Developing a marketing strategy specifically for a debut or independent author.
- Positioning a novel within its genre and identifying its target readership.
- Creating a consistent author presence across relevant platforms.
2. Amazon Management
- Complete management and optimisation of an Amazon KDP book listing.
- Expertise in book descriptions, keywords, categories, metadata, and SEO.
- Understanding Amazon's book-ranking system and strategies to improve organic visibility.
- Managing both eBook and paperback editions.
- Monitoring sales performance, conversion rates, and listing analytics.
3. Amazon Advertising
- Planning, launching, and managing Amazon Ads campaigns for novels.
- Expertise in Sponsored Products and relevant advertising formats.
- Keyword research, targeting, bidding strategies, budget allocation, and campaign optimisation.
- Analysing ACOS, ROAS, CTR, and conversion data.
- Building sustainable advertising strategies rather than simply spending money on impressions and clicks.
4. Reviews & Reputation Management
- Understanding Amazon and Goodreads review ecosystems.
- Monitoring reviews and managing reader feedback professionally.
- Developing ethical strategies to encourage genuine reader reviews.
- Understanding Amazon's review policies and avoiding practices that could put an author's account or book listing at risk.
5. Complete Book-Selling Strategy
- Developing an end-to-end strategy to market and sell a novel on Amazon.
- Identifying the right audience and reaching actual readers.
- Improving listing visibility and purchase conversion.
- Coordinating promotional activities and analysing their actual impact on sales.
- Providing regular performance reports and actionable recommendations.
Who I'm looking for:
Someone who has demonstrable experience working specifically with books, novels, authors, or independent publishing—not just general Amazon sellers.
Previous experience managing fiction titles, particularly psychological thrillers or literary fiction, would be an advantage.
If you have successfully managed Amazon KDP accounts, author branding, book advertising, and the overall selling process for novels, I'd be interested in discussing a potential collaboration.
Please share your relevant experience, previous book-related projects, results, and service structure when reaching out.
