***No AI***I manage a steady flow of community notices, fact sheets, and service-related guides that must be available in Vietnamese, Russian, Dari, Haitian Creole, Kinyarwanda, Af-Soomaali, and Swahili for people who rely on government or social-service information. Each assignment averages about 990 English words per target language, and new batches arrive regularly, so consistency and reliability are essential.
Your task is to transform the plain-language English source into clear, culturally attuned messaging that feels native to each audience. Tone should remain neutral, respectful, and easily understood by newcomers who may be unfamiliar with official terminology.
Workflow
• I supply an editable document or spreadsheet, reference glossaries, and due dates.
• You return the translated file with identical formatting, tags, and any embedded links preserved.
• One short revision round follows to address my in-house comments.
Acceptance criteria
• Every string translated by a human—no raw machine output.
• Terminology aligns with the provided glossary.
• Final copy is free of spelling or punctuation errors.
• Delivery within the agreed timeline (typically 3–4 days per batch).
When responding, please note which CAT tools you prefer (Trados, memoQ, Smartling, etc.), highlight relevant experience with public-sector or community information, and attach at least one sample that shows comparable work in any of the five languages. I’m aiming for a long-term, part-time partnership, so attention to detail and dependable communication will weigh heavily in the selection.
