AI Video Editor / Visual Storyteller for Long-Term YouTube Channel
We are looking for a talented AI video editor / visual storyteller for a long-term YouTube project about thought-provoking ideas, human behavior, life, time, memory, technology, society and the strange things people accept as normal without questioning them.
Our goal is to create videos that make viewers think:
“I had never thought about it that way.”
WHAT WE PROVIDE
• Complete script
• Final Spanish HUMAN voice-over
• Narrative structure
• Creative direction
• Visual references when necessary
You do NOT need to write scripts or generate narration.
YOUR JOB
Transform our narration into an engaging and visually coherent 6–8 minute 1080p YouTube video using an efficient combination of:
• AI-generated images/video
• Royalty-free footage when appropriate
• Subtle animation/camera movement
• Music and light sound design
• Simple, tasteful editing
You may use Kling, Veo, Seedance, Runway, Midjourney, Flux, Premiere, CapCut or other tools you prefer.
We are not looking for complicated filmmaking. We are looking for intelligent visual storytelling.
MAIN CREATIVE REFERENCE
Pursuit of Wonder:
https://www.youtube.com/@PursuitofWonder
This is the closest reference for the intellectual and emotional experience we want: curiosity, storytelling, philosophical depth and complex ideas made human.
We are NOT trying to copy this channel. We want to develop our own identity.
Additional visual/production references:

IMPORTANT — NOT A DARK PSYCHOLOGY CHANNEL
The references above show production quality, pacing and atmosphere, but we do NOT want a repetitive dark aesthetic.
Our visual identity is not darkness. Our visual identity is curiosity.
The visual language should change with each idea: warm and nostalgic, clean and modern, strange, beautiful, surreal, uncomfortable, contemplative or dark when the subject actually requires it.
VISUAL DIFFERENTIATION
We want conceptual visual storytelling, not literal illustration.
If the narration talks about time, you do not always need to show a clock.
If it talks about loneliness, you do not always need to show a sad person.
If it talks about money, you do not always need to show cash.
Look for visual metaphors.
We especially like ordinary situations containing one unexpected or slightly surreal element — something familiar that makes the viewer look twice.
Each episode should ideally contain at least one memorable “hero visual” representing its central idea.
Think less like a stock-footage editor and more like a visual storyteller.
WE DO NOT WANT
• Generic motivational videos
• Random stock footage matched literally to words
• One-click automated AI videos
• Repetitive dark-psychology imagery
• Robotic AI Spanish narration
• Excessive effects or transitions
• The same visual template in every episode
FIRST PROJECT
One paid 6–8 minute test video.
If the collaboration works well, we expect approximately 8–12 videos per month, so efficient production and competitive recurring pricing are important.
WHEN APPLYING
Start your proposal with “OBVIOUS VIDEO” so we know you read the description.
Please include:
1. Only 1–2 portfolio examples closest to our references.
2. Which AI/video tools you personally use.
3. Briefly explain how you would produce this type of video efficiently.
4. Your price for the first 6–8 minute paid test.
5. Your best price per video for 8 videos/month.
6. Your best price per video for 12 videos/month.
7. Your country/location.
Shortlisted candidates may be asked to create a very short visual sample using the same voice-over so we can compare creative approaches.
We value visual taste, reliability, efficiency and long-term pricing more than complicated editing.
