My small online shop sells physical goods and is already running smoothly, but I now need it to meet ADA requirements so every customer can browse and purchase with ease. The site’s core functions—especially the product-search bar—must stay intact while we address accessibility aspects such as proper color contrast, comprehensive alt text, keyboard-only navigation, and overall code compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
I will grant full access to the current codebase and any design files so you can audit, fix, and document changes. Please test thoroughly on major browsers and assistive technologies (screen readers, high-contrast modes) to confirm the updates work as intended.
Deliverables
• Detailed accessibility audit report (pre-fix)
• Implemented fixes: color palette adjustments, alt text insertion, ARIA labels, semantic HTML, skip-links, and robust keyboard focus order
• Post-implementation test results with screenshots or recorded walkthroughs
• Brief accessibility statement I can add to the site footer
• Final summary of code changes for future maintenance
Once these items are complete and verified, the project will be considered finished.
