Accurate Text Entry from Scans

I have a set of scanned documents that must be converted into editable text. Your task is to transcribe every word you see and deliver the result as a clean, well-formatted Word document (.docx).

The source material is exclusively text—no complex tables or heavy numerics—yet I still need line breaks, headings, and any bold or italic styling preserved. Accuracy is paramount; I will compare the finished file against the scans, so please proof-read and correct OCR quirks before sending anything back.

Workflow
• I supply the scans through a shared drive.
• You return a single .docx file that follows the exact page order.
• Flag anything unreadable in a short comment log.

If you like to speed up with tools such as ABBYY FineReader or Adobe Acrobat, that’s fine, but the final copy must be manually checked for errors. Roughly 150 pages are waiting; let me know how quickly you can turn them around and point me to any similar text-from-scan jobs you’ve completed.
