40-Page Serious Cartoon Comic

The project centres on a full-length, 40-page comic book drawn in a clean, expressive Cartoon style yet driven by a Serious narrative that speaks to a teenage readership. All story beats, panel pacing and visual humour must serve the deeper dramatic arc, so the artwork should balance lively, stylised figures with believable emotion.

I have an outline and key character notes; the rest—from thumbnails through final colour—needs to be developed. Consistency of line weight, palette and lettering is essential so the finished book feels cohesive when printed or viewed digitally.

Deliverables expected:
• Complete storyboard/thumbnails for approval
• Fully inked and coloured sequential art for 40 interior pages
• Front and back cover designs that match the interior style
• Layered source files (PSD/AI/CLIP) plus a 300 dpi CMYK print-ready PDF

Acceptance criteria: every page must be print-ready, dialogue correctly lettered, and all files supplied in the agreed formats. A brief check-in at roughs, halfway inks and final colour will keep us aligned on schedule and tone.
