I need twenty-five original relief-style figures modelled for 3D printing so I can produce flexible silicone cavity moulds for kids’ plaster casting kits. The finished plaster pieces should sit around 10 × 10 cm with a maximum depth of 2 cm and a completely flat back, so please design each figure as a shallow bas-relief rather than a full sculpture.
Themes
All six themes are required—princesses, unicorns, dinosaurs, vehicles, animals and Christmas motifs—rendered in a playful, cartoonish style that carries enough raised detail for young children to paint easily once the plaster is cured.
Technical points
• Every edge must be gently rounded and free of fragile, needle-thin elements to ensure clean silicone pulls and easy demoulding.
• Surfaces should be smooth out of the printer; I’m aiming to pour the rubber directly over the prints with minimal post-processing.
• Please keep total depth to roughly 20 mm, tapering wherever possible so plaster can flow without trapping bubbles.
Workflow
I will supply JPEG reference pictures for each concept. From these you will create manufacturable 3D/CAD files—STL or a comparable print-ready format works best for me—along with a simple visual of the final mesh so I can verify detail before sign-off.
Deliverables (per figure)
1. Print-ready 3D file (.STL or equivalent) at the stated dimensions
2. Quick render or screenshot for approval
3. One round of minor tweaks included
Acceptance criteria
• Fits inside a 100 × 100 × 20 mm bounding box
• Flat rear face, no undercuts deeper than 2 mm on vertical walls
• Smooth, kid-friendly contours and visibly raised features
Once we agree on the first test model, we can proceed in batches to keep the workload balanced and ensure the style remains consistent across the full set of 25 designs.
