24-Hour Floating Paper Experiment

I need a practical, documented experiment that identifies the most reliable way to keep paper afloat on water for at least 24 consecutive hours. You will work with five specific substrates—Plain paper, Glossy paper, Matte paper, Cardstock, and Recycled paper—and treat each with three waterproofing approaches: Plastic wrap, Varnish, and an Oil-based coating. Every sample is to be placed in still water in a bowl and observed over the full day.

Please film the entire test process, from preparation through the final 24-hour check, and compile your findings into a concise PDF report. The report should include methodology, timed photos or screenshots from the video, measurements of any saturation or edge curl, and a clear recommendation on the best paper-coating combination.

Deliverables
• One edited video (MP4 or similar, no longer than 10 min) showing setup, hourly checkpoints, and the final result
• A PDF report containing the data table, photos, observations, and material recommendations
• A short summary section I can quote directly in future project notes

Acceptance criteria
• At least one sample must remain fully afloat for the entire 24-hour period with no visible waterlogging
• All files are submitted within 10 days of project start
• Results can be replicated using the same materials listed
