20 Color Children’s Book Illustrations

I’m putting together a children’s book and need twenty full-color illustrations to bring the story to life. All images will appear in print, so they must be delivered in high-resolution CMYK files (preferably layered PSD or AI) along with web-ready versions for future promotion.

The exact age bracket isn’t fixed yet, which means I’m open to your artistic input on style. Whether you lean toward a soft, cute cartoon look, a bright and playful vibe, or something more detailed and painterly, I’ll choose the direction that best matches the manuscript once I see your samples.

Here’s what I’ll provide:
• A brief for each spread describing characters, setting, and key emotional beats
• Reference photos or mood boards where useful
• Page layout specs and trim size

What I expect from you:
• 20 finished illustrations that align with the story brief
• Source files and flattened print-ready PDFs (300 dpi, CMYK, full bleed)
• Two rounds of revisions on each piece to fine-tune color and composition

If you’ve illustrated children’s books before, send over a few examples that show your range. Looking forward to collaborating and giving young readers a world they’ll want to revisit again and again.
