About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled remote Developer with Guidewire PC and Java skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both Guidewire and Java and be able to develop and maintain complex web applications. Candidates should have very good hands-on experience in Java/J2EE and Guidewire Policy Center work across Enterprise projects. Key Responsibilities Design, Develop and maintain Guidewire PC and Java based systems. Work with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software. Stay up to date on the latest trends in Enterprise level frameworks and platforms. Responsible for researching and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems and system integrations. Assist in defining best practices, defining standards, developing code libraries and Proof of Concepts. Prepare Detailed Specifications or Design from which programs will be written. Code/configure, unit test, review code, debug, document, and maintain complex software applications, in an environment that continuously introduces leading-edge technologies. May be required to lead a medium sized development team and mentor other less experienced developers. Qualifications/Requirements Strong experience in Guidewire, Java, RESTful APIs, and Web services and J2EE development.
