Project overview
A funded FinTech start-up looking for experienced developers. We are looking for an experienced full stack developer who uses open source languages/tools (i.e. React, React Native, Node.js, and Postgres DB) and has experience in the financial (FinTech) space. We are using an Agile methodology to lay out epics and stories in a priority backlog to drive work. We have a UX/UI designer who has created a collection of wireframes for traditional web/desktop pages as well as mobile pages. Both desktop application and mobile app are in scope. We are developing a pair of applications (mobile and desktop web), both leveraging the same back-end set of APIs. In addition, we are working with a 3rd party to incorporate their APIs into our back-end. We are deploying to dynamic environments hosted on the AWS cloud. While not required, any knowledge and previous experience working with AWS native service and Docker containers is a HUGE plus. AWS services we are using include: ECS, Amplify, SMS, S3, RDS, and many more. In addition, we are using Prisma, Swagger, and Postman as part of our tool set. Viable candidates must be U.S.-based and available to work during traditional business hours in the 4 US continental time zones, up to 40 hours per week. While your technical skills are important, we are also interested in your ability to communicate, problem solve, socialize, and actively contribute to the team and to the project. You will work remotely as most of the team is spread out across the US. We would like to fill this position in the 1-2 weeks.
