goLance is an online freelancing platform that specializes in connecting employers with freelancers all over the world. We are growing rapidly and are looking for a results-oriented DevOps engineer working from anywhere in the world to help us get to the next level. As a front-end developer, you will be expected to: Be able to effectively communicate with engineering team, product management team. Implement tasks related to the development of the front end part of applications. Plan and think through the architecture of tasks + estimate the time required to complete this task. Write efficient, well-readable and maintainable code. You will need: At least 2 years of experience in software development Experience with web application development frameworks and tools like React/Vue, Redux/Vuex, Next/Nuxt, Webpack Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES 2015-2019) Understanding of floats and flexbox CSS Pre-Processors and frameworks available for it (PostCSS, Stylus, LESS, SASS) Basic animation in CSS Proficient understanding of Git Experience with REST Api Would be a plus: Experience with Node.js, Express/Koa/Hapi Experience with Grunt, Gulp Top preference is to hire devs physically located in Puerto Rico close to our center of operations, second preference is elsewhere in United States and Canada, third preference is Europe, Asia, Latin America and throughout the world.
