Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, system administration, and cloud infrastructure. They will play a pivotal role in building, deploying, and maintaining our systems and applications. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration, high availability, and optimal performance of our software solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes, utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Docker. • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability across all environments. • Implement security best practices , including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance with industry standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including developers, QA, and product managers, to define infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to infrastructure, application deployment, and performance. • Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the DevOps processes and infrastructure. • Document infrastructure setups, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and operational efficiency. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or software engineering. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby. • Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and processes, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Docker. • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation. • Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Splunk. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach to addressing challenges. • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are highly desirable. • Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes or Docker Swarm. • Background in software development with knowledge of programming languages like Go, Java, or C++.
