About the Role This is a contract position for an API Developer with a duration until 12/31/2025. The role is based in the United States and is remote. Candidates must have 12+ years of experience. Key Responsibilities Design and develop Web APIs using C#. Utilize MS Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, and Container Services. Implement MS Azure DevOps practices, including GIT Repos and Azure CICD Pipelines. Work with MS Visual Studio, MS Server Products, and MS Office Products. Develop and manage SQL Server databases. Utilize JSON, API, and Web Services. Implement and manage SOAP and SOAP utilities. Apply security frameworks such as JWT and OAUTH2. Create REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools. Qualifications/Requirements 12+ years of experience in API development. Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging. Skilled in problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Familiarity with VB Scripting or related scripting languages. Prior experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
