The group provides data to other technology groups supporting Portfolio Management, Client Reporting, Assets Under Management, Legal and Regulatory reporting. Responsibilities Describe the role: The candidate will develop code that addresses the business processes related to Private Client Operations. The candidate will play an important role in porting logic from our legacy PowerBuilder/Sybase application (BOSS) to our strategic C#/SQL Server platform (AB Advantage). Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports: The candidate will develop the AB Advantage application which supports the Private Client Operations business functions. The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing business processes, interface with business users to understand requirements for new functionality or enhancements to existing functionality and deliver code that addresses the business needs. The candidate will also examine and analyze existing PowerBuilder and Sybase code (BOSS) to port the functionality to C# and SQL Server (AB Advantage) What makes this role unique or interesting? Qualifications Qualifications, Experience, Education: A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or closely related field. A passion for technology Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with of the full application development cycle (analysis, design, coding, testing) of the back-end and the front-end Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
