Project overview

This role will lead video projects, edit trailers / promotional videos, and explore creating new types of video work - playing with tone, formats, graphics, sound elements, and themes for existing and new user experiences. They will create new concepts while managing the artistic intent of the video project from start to finish. They will also maintain cross-functional partnerships with departments such as Experience Design (XD) for all devices. The Role: Reporting to the Platform Experience Manager, video creatives are responsible for acting as the point-of-contact for product explorations involving video. Troubleshoot toolset inefficiencies and collaborate on post-production optimizations. Work closely with a group of peers to efficiently scale asset suites. Collaborate across teams internally, both in support of product innovation initiatives and the creation of compelling, short-form promotional content. Required Qualifications: Curiosity regarding how video affects the user-experience within our product. Experience in a creative editorial / post-production capacity (studio, agency or freelance). Expertise in non-linear editing platforms (primarily Adobe Premiere). Ability to manage projects as a creative lead as well as self-manage and organize workloads with tight deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be highly collaborative and able to maintain creative excellence in a fast-paced, ever changing landscape. Nice-to-haves: Basic knowledge of motion graphics authoring software (After Effects). Knowledge of product development and/or product design a plus.
