Project overview
We are a medical management company which is growing quickly and looking for good individuals to work for our company as we grow to provide support and services for our clients as well as ourselves. The consultant that we are looking for would work in the following areas as a minimum and MUST be U.S. based. 1. Understanding of business formation in various states, and ability to register client business in various states understanding that state requirements for a healthcare entity.
2. Understanding of state requirements for credentialing of providers and nurse practictioners. 3. Ability to vet service lines based on procedure codes, so understanding of compliance as it relates to procedure codes to advise clients for the best implementation of them. 4. Provide oversight and assistance as needed for credentialing, coding, and compliance issues for our management company. 5. Understanding of medical billing and healthcare revenue cycle management, as it relates to Medicare, Medicaid, and VA. 6. Understanding the practice of Medicare laws, rules and regulations, as well as the Medicare appeals process and defending audited claims at the MAC, RAC, and ZPIC level.
7. Strategic planning, deployment and management of operational assets and operating infrastructure as it relates to optimizing practices, as well as kickstarting practices or business in trouble. 8. Understanding of compliance and regulatory management as it relates to healthcare labor laws, ERISA, payroll/overtime, the ACA, FCA, and anti-kickback rules. 9. Rules and regulations for home health care, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities in various states. 10. Ability to provide quality assurance and performance improvement support, including data collection, aggregation, and analysis, and applying data to effect business process solutions. 11. Understanding of operational managmeent of skilled home healthcare agencies, acute care hospitals, and assisted living, including, busiess accounting, operational data analysis, quality control, and human resource management. Education:
MBA, and or MHA is a must for this position. Team:
We would provide support staff under your direction for project support and management in key areas. You would interact with clients to provide the assistance they would need, or be able to provide them the information that would be needed, and need to promptly reply to phone calls, or emails, as well as our company CEO. Payment would be on retainer for a minimum number of hours per month, and then to include extended hours worked to be billed monthly. We are also looking for this position to grow to become a permanent position with us, and be with us as we grow and become a part of our company on an executive level. We have several service lines which provides an opportunity for significant growth as a company.
