ZRA-Integrated Hardware POS Software

I need a reliable desktop-based POS system tailored to a hardware, steel and building-materials store here in Zambia. A key requirement is native integration with the Zambia Revenue Authority Smart Invoice platform so that every transaction is reported to ZRA automatically and in the correct format—no manual uploads, no compliance headaches.

Core features I expect out of the box:
• Inventory management that handles thousands of SKUs, flags low-stock items in real time and produces reorder suggestions
• Detailed sales reporting with daily, monthly and year-to-date insights exportable to Excel or PDF
• A simple customer loyalty module that tracks repeat buyers and applies discounts or points at checkout

Because this will run on our in-store desktops, the application must install locally, work smoothly on a standard Windows environment and offer an easy way to back up or restore data. Internet connectivity in-store can be patchy, so an offline-first approach that syncs to ZRA the moment a connection is available will be ideal.

I’m not pressed for time; quality and rock-solid compliance matter more than speed. Once delivered, I’ll need a short hand-over session so my staff can navigate the system confidently and we can verify that Smart Invoice submissions pass ZRA validation.
