1. Project Overview / Heading
Title: Zomato Restaurant Data Analysis Dashboard
Domain: Food Delivery / Restaurant Analytics
Tool Used: Power BI (dashboard UI se clear hai)
Purpose: Zomato platform par available restaurants ka comprehensive analysis — price, ratings, delivery time, city & area distribution, high/low rated restaurants, etc.
2. Problem Statement
Zomato jaise platforms par hazaron restaurants hote hain. Management / business stakeholders ko yeh samajhna mushkil hota hai ki:

Kaunse cities / areas mein zyada restaurants hain?
Average price range kya hai aur kaunse cuisine expensive hain?
High-rated vs Low-rated restaurants ka distribution kaisa hai?
Delivery time aur ratings ka relation kya hai?
Overall business health (total restaurants, average rating, average price, delivery performance) kaisi hai?

Manual data dekhne se decisions lena slow aur error-prone hota hai. Isliye ek interactive visual dashboard ki zarurat thi jo real-time filters ke saath key metrics dikhaye.

Ek interactive Power BI dashboard banaya gaya hai jisme:

Cuisine / Food Price Insights:

Indian cuisine sabse expensive dikh raha hai (~389)
Chinese (~277), North Indian (~246), Fast Food (~240), South Indian (~228)
Desserts, Bakery, Beverages, Biryani, Pizzas, Ice Cream lower price range mein hain

City-wise Performance:

Total restaurants: Kolkata & Mumbai highest (~1.3K each), phir Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore (~1.1K), Ahmedabad (~0.9K), Delhi (~0.7K), Surat (~0.5K)
Average Rating: Chennai highest (3.78), Bangalore (3.76), Hyderabad & Kolkata (3.70), Ahmedabad & Mumbai (3.60)
Avg Delivery Time: Kolkata sabse high (67.81), Chennai (58.97), baaki cities 44–50 range mein
Total ratings count: Kolkata (1346) > Mumbai (1277) > Chennai (1106) > Hyderabad (1075)

Ratings Distribution (Donut):

Largest slice ~41.5% (likely mid-high ratings)
Other slices: 10.02%, 9.54%, 8.86%, 7.25%, 6.63%, 5.33%, 3.96%

High vs Low Rated by Area:

Kothrud, Indiranagar, etc. mein high-rated restaurants zyada dikhte hain
Kuch areas mein low-rated dominance hai

High-rated sirf 662, Low-rated 3K → majority restaurants average ya low rating pe hain
Average rating 3.66 (theek-thaak)

5. How to Explain This Project to Anyone (Interview / Presentation Style)
Introduction (30 sec):
“This is an end-to-end Zomato Restaurant Analytics Dashboard built in Power BI. I analyzed restaurant data across multiple Indian cities to uncover insights on pricing, ratings, delivery performance and geographical distribution.”

“Business teams needed a single view to understand which cities/areas perform best, which cuisines are premium, and where delivery & rating issues exist.”

Only ~7% restaurants are high-rated (662 out of 9K)

Helps Zomato / restaurant partners take data-driven decisions on expansion, pricing strategy, delivery optimization and quality improvement.
