Zoho + Supabase Developer / Team for Data Migration & Ongoing Backend Support

Project Description

We are looking for an experienced Zoho developer, backend developer, or small development team to help migrate data from our existing Zoho environment into a new Supabase/PostgreSQL backend.

This project may also develop into ongoing backend development and maintenance work through Freelancer.com after the initial migration is completed.

Our organization currently uses Zoho Recruit, Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, and other Zoho applications to manage recruitment, candidates, employers, clients, and operational data.

We are developing a new recruitment and job platform with Supabase/PostgreSQL as the primary backend.

The platform already has an initial backend and application architecture in development. We are looking for someone who can first help with the Zoho → Supabase migration, understand the existing system, and potentially continue supporting the backend as the platform moves into production.

Initial Scope

The initial project will involve:

Reviewing our existing Zoho Recruit / CRM environment
Identifying relevant modules, fields, relationships, custom fields, workflows, and attachments
Determining the appropriate way to extract data using Zoho APIs and supported Zoho development tools
Mapping existing Zoho records into our Supabase/PostgreSQL schema
Migrating candidate, employer/client, recruitment, job, and related operational data
Preserving relationships between records
Handling custom Zoho modules and fields
Migrating or appropriately referencing documents and attachments
Creating reusable migration scripts or tools rather than relying entirely on manual exports
Validating migrated data for completeness and accuracy
Documenting the migration process
Where appropriate, establishing an incremental synchronization process between Zoho and Supabase during the transition
Potential Ongoing Backend Work

We are also interested in finding a developer or team that could potentially continue working with us after the initial migration.

Supabase/PostgreSQL maintenance
Database schema development and migrations
Backend API development
Supabase Edge Functions
Authentication and authorization
Row-Level Security policies
Storage and document management
Zoho integrations
Data synchronization
Bug fixes and production support

The immediate priority is the migration, but successful completion of this project may lead to additional projects and ongoing work on Freelancer.com.

Preferred Experience

We are looking primarily for demonstrated technical experience rather than certifications alone.

Zoho certification or official Zoho Partner/Developer status is preferred, but not required.

Candidates without formal certification are encouraged to apply if they have substantial experience developing with the Zoho ecosystem.
