We’re building a UK online marketplace. It depends on a steady flow of partner stores, restaurants, takeaways and wholesalers. We need a Zoho set-up that turns every new sign-up into a guided onboarding journey, tracks each partner’s progress in a clear pipeline, and prompts our team automatically at each step.
Choosing the right Zoho products
We think Zoho CRM on its own may be enough, but we’d like your advice. Please explain whether Zoho Creator or another Zoho app is needed, with the pros, cons, costs and complexity of each option. Please also say which Zoho CRM edition (Standard or Professional) each feature needs. We’ll agree the set-up with you before any configuration begins.
What it needs to do
A public online sign-up form sends partner details straight into Zoho.
When a new partner record is created, the partner gets a branded welcome message and timed reminders.
Messages go by WhatsApp or email, depending on each partner’s preferred contact method. Some partners don’t use email. WhatsApp should use Zoho’s own WhatsApp connection with Meta-approved message templates.
Onboarding tasks are created and assigned to our team automatically.
When a task is completed or a key field is updated, the partner moves to the next stage of a visual pipeline (Blueprint).
Clear reports on partner numbers, time from sign-up to going live, and the history of follow-ups.
Deliverables
A short recommendation on the best Zoho product mix.
Modules, fields and pipeline stages set up to match our onboarding steps.
Automated emails, WhatsApp messages, tasks and stage moves, fully tested with sample data.
One live sign-up form connected to Zoho.
A short handover guide plus a screen-share session, so our team can run and maintain the system.
How we work
The Zoho account is in our company’s name, and we are the main administrator. You’ll get a user login for the project, which we’ll remove at handover.
We need a UK/EU data centre and a signed NDA. We won’t share real partner data until both are in place.
The work counts as complete when we have tested it and signed it off.
Zoho licences are paid by us directly to Zoho, so please leave them out of your quote.
We have a written set-up guide describing our fields, stages and messages. We’ll share it with shortlisted freelancers.
