Z-Fold Menu Text Update

I have an existing restaurant Z-fold menu that sits in Adobe Illustrator. Right now every line of copy is outlined, so prices and dishes can’t be edited quickly. the food items are in vector format. I need the file rebuilt so all the food items to be in text format and to be easily editable, sorted out, moved down or up. Simply the food items text needs to be as we are writing in Word document. the font has to be increased maybe so it is visible better for the customers.

The menu design, layout, colors, imagery and the background stays the same. Pictures the same. they are editable now and they should stay editable. Except we can format the menu file so it is not a very large file in size. We can also move the menu background edges in and out, left or right, based on the need when we enter the text.

Deliverables
• An Illustrator (.ai) file with every bit of copy on editable text layers, fonts linked or packaged
• A print-ready PDF that reflects the updated wording, correct bleed and fold guides

Acceptance criteria: I can open the .ai, select any sentence with the Type tool, and export to PDF without missing-font warnings. I should be able to add new food items anywhere in the menu, and the text should stay formatted, items next should be pushed down, same as I'm typing in a Text Box in' Word document. Finished size remains the same as the current Z-fold. Same template.

A 3-4 day turnaround would be ideal. Let me know about similar menu projects you’ve handled in Illustrator so I can get this moving quickly.
