I’m looking for a reliable editor who can turn my raw footage into polished, engaging YouTube uploads. Each project will involve assembling clips, trimming out pauses or mistakes, balancing audio, colour-correcting where needed and exporting a final 1080p (or higher) file ready to publish.
I usually supply:
• A folder of camera footage (MP4, 4K or 1080p)
• Separate audio tracks when applicable
• Any logos, lower-third templates or reference videos
What I expect back:
• A clean, well-paced edit that keeps viewers watching
• Seamless cuts, basic motion graphics for titles or calls to action and tasteful transitions
• Royalty-free background music and subtle sound effects when appropriate
• An intro/outro or placeholder space for one (I can provide existing assets)
• Source project files (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or similar) alongside the rendered video
Turnaround for most videos is two to four days, though we can discuss timelines per project. If this first assignment goes smoothly I’d like to continue on a regular basis—roughly one to two edits per week.
When you reply, please share:
• A link to at least two YouTube videos you’ve edited
• Your preferred editing software
• Typical turnaround time for a 10-minute finished video
Let me know any questions you have, and feel free to suggest creative touches that could improve viewer retention. Looking forward to collaborating!
