A GTA content creator needed a complete thumbnail overhaul to increase
click-through rate and compete in one of YouTube's most saturated
gaming niches. Their previous thumbnails lacked realism, cinematic
quality, and the "movie poster" feel that top GTA channels use to
stand out.

My goal was to design a versatile thumbnail set covering different
video formats: wealth/roleplay content, police chases, stunts, horror/
mystery, car showcases, and GTA 6 news/hype videos — giving the channel
a cinematic, high-production visual identity.

What I focused on:
- Realistic character renders with confident, dramatic poses
- Bold typography with strong outlines and color contrast for mobile
readability
- Cinematic lighting and atmosphere (neon cities, night scenes, chaos,
action) matching each video's tone
- Consistent color grading across the set to build a recognizable,
professional channel identity

Challenge: GTA thumbnails need to feel realistic and cinematic without
looking like a random screenshot. I solved this by treating each
thumbnail like a movie poster — clear focal point, dynamic composition,
and intentional lighting to create drama and intrigue.

Result: a cohesive, high-impact thumbnail pack that elevated the
channel's visual identity and positioned it competitively against top
GTA content creators.
