I run a small but growing YouTube channel focused on hands-on electronics projects and I need a reliable editor who can transform my raw, multi-camera footage into polished, professional-looking step-by-step tutorials. The videos must stay clear and instructional throughout, with a tone that feels confident and expert rather than casual or comedic.
Each episode typically shows the complete build of a circuit or device, so the pacing has to be tight: no unnecessary pauses, smooth transitions, and plenty of close-ups whenever a delicate solder joint or measurement is made. I’ll supply narration tracks, B-roll, and any still images you might need; your job is to assemble everything so viewers can follow along without confusion.
Here’s what I expect on every edit:
• Trim and arrange clips for logical flow and strong viewer retention.
• Add clean text call-outs or lower thirds for each major step.
• Drop in zoom-ins, picture-in-picture, or slow-motion segments when a detail needs emphasis.
• Polish audio (noise reduction, EQ, gentle compression) and balance voice with low-key background music.
• Apply colour correction, simple motion graphics for pinouts or values, and a short branded intro/outro.
For now I only need the step-by-step tutorial overlay; if you have experience adding schematic diagrams or full component lists, that will be an advantage for future episodes.
Deliverables per video:
1. Final 8–10 minute 1080p (or higher) file ready to upload to YouTube.
2. The editable project file (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut—your choice).
3. Any third-party asset licences used.
