Write Preschool Friendship Picture Book

The project centres on a single, fully-developed picture-book manuscript for children aged 3-5. The story must celebrate friendship in a warm, engaging way, use simple rhythmic language that invites read-aloud moments, and unfold over roughly 24–28 double-page spreads. Every scene should conjure images that lend themselves to colourful, vibrant artwork; brief illustration notes are welcome to guide the future artist, but the text itself must remain front-and-centre.

Please weave in gentle repetition, age-appropriate vocabulary, and a clear beginning–middle–end structure that preschoolers can follow. A light moral is fine, yet the tone should stay playful rather than preachy. The finished manuscript should arrive ready for layout, formatted in spread order with dialogue and art notes clearly distinguished.

Deliverables

• Separate list of main characters with one-line descriptions
• Illustration notes embedded or supplied as a companion file

Acceptance criteria
• 900 words maximum
• Friendship theme remains central throughout
• Language suitable for independent reading level F–G or below
• Text naturally supports bright, lively illustrations without dictating every visual detail

Once approved, the manuscript will move straight into the illustration phase, so clarity and vibrancy on the page are essential.
