I need a small utility that logs in to a private WordPress site with my username and password, pulls each new post’s title, main photo, body text, and any download link, then republishes that material to my XenForo forum through XenForo’s REST API.
Key points I must see working:
• Content must arrive in pure Text format on XenForo (no HTML tags or Markdown).
• Images and ordinary hyperlinks present in the original article have to be carried over so the final thread looks complete to forum users.
• The job runs automatically once every 24 hours but I also want a simple way to trigger it on demand from the command line or an admin page.
Authentication for both platforms, basic error logging, and a short README on how to adjust scheduling or credentials will be enough for me to deploy it on my server.
