LearnDash LMS Developer — WordPress Development
I’m looking for an experienced "WordPress + LearnDash developer" to build a secure, scalable online learning platform.
The "business idea, course subject, target market, and commercial strategy are confidential| and will be disclosed progressively only to shortlisted/selected candidates.
Scope of Work
* Configure and customize LearnDash + WordPress.
* Build courses, lessons, topics, quizzes, prerequisites, progression, completion tracking, certificates, etc.
* Create learning tracks/pathways containing multiple courses, with required/optional courses and appropriate access rules.
* Build a clean, responsive student dashboard and learning experience.
* Implement frontend-only course creation for approved external instructors—no unrestricted WordPress admin access.
* Instructor workflow: create → save draft → submit for review → admin approval/request changes → publish.
* Apply least-privilege permissions so instructors can access only what they need.
* Integrate secure payment and course-enrollment/access control, including appropriate handling of failed/refunded payments and payment webhooks.
* Implement reasonable PDF/document protection, including restricted access, protected URLs/files, download controls, optional watermarking, and prevention of public indexing where appropriate.
* Apply WordPress/LearnDash/web security best practices: secure authentication/authorization, role/capability controls, input validation, file-upload security, CSRF protection, secure API/AJAX implementation, dependency/plugin security, etc.
* Recommend a minimal, maintainable plugin/technology stack and explain security/privacy implications of third-party plugins.
Access Restrictions
No root/Admin/server access or unrestricted WordPress Administrator access will be provided.
Development will be performed using **restricted, least-privilege access**. Any elevated access genuinely required must be explained and approved beforehand.
Security & Confidentiality
* No sharing, copying, reuse, screenshots, demonstrations, or portfolio publication of the project without written permission.
* Sensitive business information will be disclosed only when necessary.
* NDA/confidentiality agreement may be required.
* Do not access unrelated systems/data.
Testing & Deliverables
The completed system should be tested for:
* Student/instructor workflows.
* Course and track progression.
* Payments and enrollment.
* Unauthorized-access scenarios.
* PDF/document protection.
* Permissions/security.
* Mobile responsiveness and major browser compatibility.
Deliverables include the completed implementation, custom/source code, configuration details, documentation, testing, deployment assistance, and handover.
* Delivery Timeframe: max 7 days
* Delay fines: every one day delay cost you 10% per day of total project cost
30-Day Support
*30 days of post-delivery support are included, starting from formal acceptance.
This covers bugs and functional issues related to the delivered work. New features, major scope changes, third-party outages, or issues caused by unauthorized modifications are outside the support scope.
