Transcend Living – WordPress website with Mews PMS booking integration (serviced apartments, Coimbra, Portugal)

ABOUT US
Transcend Living is the serviced-apartment brand of Transcend Group, a Lisbon-based real estate developer. Our pilot property, N°7 Coimbra, is a 29-unit residence for students, expats and young professionals, with two booking types:
- Short-term stays (under 60 days): instant online booking
- Mid & long-term stays (60 days to 12 months): application + review before confirmation

Our current site (transcend-living.com) runs on GoDaddy Website Builder, which can't handle booking, forms or PMS integration. We're rebuilding it on self-hosted WordPress, integrated with our PMS, Mews (Enterprise).

WHAT WE NEED
One engagement covering design, build and integrations:

1. WordPress site (self-hosted, under our own hosting/domain accounts)
- Home, 5 room-type pages (gallery, description, calculator, "Reserve"), FAQ, Legal pages
- URL structure ready for multiple properties from day one (e.g. /coimbra/no7/), similar to lockeliving.com
- Improve our existing copy so it supports live booking
- Rates and content editable by our team without developer involvement

2. Pricing calculator
- Inputs: room type, term length (tiered rates), occupancy, housekeeping tier, Early Bird
- Reads rates/fees from Mews, not hard-coded
- Clearly separates monthly rent from one-time deposit + advance rent

3. Booking flows with Mews
- Short-term: Mews Booking Widget (instant confirm)
- Mid/long-term: custom flow using the Mews Booking Engine API – application form (existing Google Apps Script form embedded via iframe), €250 application fee, soft-hold with "pending review" state, approval, then reservation created in Mews
- All payments via Mews Payments (Adyen)

4. Integrations
- DocuSign (our existing account): link signed contracts back to the reservation – feasibility to be assessed by you
- Moloni invoicing via WebTeam's WTConnector (we can introduce you)
- Automated acknowledgment emails for every guest-facing form

5. Compliance & SEO
- GDPR-compliant handling of ID and financial documents, cookie consent
- SEO mandatory: clean URLs, meta descriptions, sitemap

TIMELINE
- Proposals by October 8, 2026
- Fully tested site live before December 31, 2026 (hard deadline)
- Checkpoints: draft site → revision 01 → revision 02 (if needed) → full copy & link check → launch
- The current site stays live until the new one is 100% complete – no partial cutover

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong WordPress development (custom PHP/JS, not only page builders)
- REST API integrations – Mews experience is a big plus
- Payment integrations (Adyen or similar)
- UX/UI design for hospitality or booking websites
- GDPR awareness, SEO best practices
- Fluent English (Portuguese is a plus)

- One point of contact on our side, quick feedback on checkpoints
- Collaborator access only; hosting, domain and accounts remain ours
- The full technical brief, reference files and room details will be shared with shortlisted candidates
