One page website plus two text based pop-ups.
A website for a local village club that I have designed but it needs building and coding.
It is a simple one page website that needs to be able take posts and change the opening times, so it will need a back end to enable this administration to be done easily.
I will supply the design, MP4 movie, typefaces and the mark up of the site for this to be done.
It will have a link to a Stripe and a link to Printify Pop-Up Store.
It will also have a link to a Club Calendar, which I will leave for you to sort, maybe a Google Calendar.
It has one link to a simple pop-up Membership page, which should be able to be accessed by the admin section to update a single club joining price with a small amount of text and a pop-up page of text for the Clubs Privacy Policy.
I have already designed a clean, one-page website for our village club and now need it turned into a working WordPress build. You will receive the finished desktop and mobile layouts, all typefaces and a intro MP4, and a markup; your job is to convert that into a lightweight theme, hook it up to an easy-to-use backend, and deploy it ready for content.
The whole site as the marked up design will show with have Parallax Scrolling.
The site only needs two pieces of editable content:
• Posts: staff will add a short news item each week.
• Opening times: these change every so often and must be editable from a simple field without touching code.
Because WordPress is the chosen platform, I expect you to set up custom fields (ACF, Gutenberg block, or similar) so the committee can log in, update opening hours, and publish a new post in minutes. No user-registration or complex roles are required beyond an admin account for me and an editor account for them.
Please keep page speed high, stick closely to the supplied design, and leave the code well-commented. Once the theme is in place, a short screen-share hand-over or concise PDF guide showing how to update posts and opening times will complete the job.
