RothMentor.com needs a visual refresh and, more importantly, a way for me to handle routine content changes without touching code. The immediate focus is on design and layout improvements that modernize the look while keeping our brand intact.
When the work is done I want to log into WordPress, open an intuitive editor—Gutenberg blocks, Elementor, or a similar drag-and-drop interface is fine—and freely change homepage text, swap images, add new sections, or hide existing ones. The same editor workflow should let me:
• Spin up new pages and place them in the main or sub-navigation
• Update disclosures, legal language, and downloadable PDFs at will
Please build with standard WordPress best practices—no hard-coded content in templates—so future edits remain simple. If you employ a page-builder plugin, use a well-supported option and keep custom code to a minimum. I’m comfortable handling content once the groundwork is in place; your role is to restructure the theme/templates, configure the editing tools, and migrate existing content into the new layout.
Deliverables
• Redesigned homepage with flexible, block-based sections
• Reusable page template(s) matching the new style
• Navigation menu management kept in WordPress menus
• Legal/disclosure area set up as an easily editable page or CPT
• Brief hand-off notes or a quick Loom walk-through showing how to edit each area
The project is complete when I can independently change any homepage element, publish a new page, and swap a PDF—all without extra developer help.
