Our WordPress-based site is starting to feel sluggish and dated. I want a developer who can tune every layer—code, hosting, and design—so visitors enjoy a fast, visually polished experience that converts.
Key goals
• Sharply cut load times and boost overall performance without sacrificing our custom features.
• Refresh the visual design so pages feel modern, intuitive, and consistent across devices.
• Strengthen on-page SEO, ensuring that any structural changes improve rankings rather than hurt them.
• Maintain full compatibility with our internal systems, particularly the POS integration that drives in-store and online sales.
Deliverables
1. Performance audit with baseline metrics and a clear optimisation plan.
2. Implemented fixes (caching, image optimisation, database tweaks, CDN setup, etc.) that bring key pages under two seconds on both desktop and mobile.
3. Updated page templates and style sheets reflecting the new visual direction.
4. SEO checks: clean markup, improved core web vitals, and redirected/updated URLs where needed.
5. Final report comparing before-and-after results, plus guidance for ongoing upkeep.
I’m happy to supply staging credentials, brand assets, and POS documentation once we agree on scope. Let me know your WordPress optimisation experience—especially any projects where you balanced custom integrations with speed and design gains—and an estimated timeline for completion.
