WordPress & Payment Gateway Integration

I’m building a WordPress site and need an experienced developer who is equally comfortable inside the WordPress dashboard and in raw PHP. Your main task will be to integrate a reliable payment gateway so that transactions run smoothly and securely, but I may also tap into your skills for theme or plugin tweaks as we go.

Here’s what I expect as concrete deliverables:
• A fully functional payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal or similar – we’ll finalise the choice together)
• Clean, well-documented PHP custom code or hooks used in the process
• End-to-end testing with test cards and live mode switch-over
• A brief hand-off guide showing where key settings live and how to add new products or plans

Please be confident with WordPress core functions, custom post types, hooks/actions, and best-practice security. If you have recent examples of payment work, share a link or two so I can see how you approach checkout UX.
