WordPress Website Takeover, Updates & Ongoing Digital Marketing

We are looking for a reliable WordPress developer / digital marketing freelancer to take over our existing business website and provide ongoing support.

We do not require a full website redesign at this stage. The existing website is generally suitable, but we need someone to take control of the website properly, make some content and presentation improvements, and manage our digital marketing going forward.

1. Website & Domain Takeover ( our website address. www.beanandbloom.ie

We previously hired an individual freelancer to build and manage the website. The domain was purchased using our business name and our name, but it was originally managed through the freelancer's own platform/account.

The hosting has now been transferred to our Register365 account, and we have the WordPress login details.

We need the new freelancer to review the current setup and make sure that we have complete ownership and control.

This includes:

Check where the domain is currently registered and how it is managed.
Assist with transferring the domain to our own account if required.
Ensure DNS and domain management are under our control.
Review all WordPress administrator accounts.
Remove any unnecessary or third-party access.
Change relevant passwords.
Ensure the previous developer no longer has access.
Check WordPress security.
Check hosting and website configuration.
Ensure we have proper backup arrangements.
Confirm that all access is ultimately controlled by our business.

Our hosting is with Register365, and we would prefer to keep everything there.

2. Minor Website Improvements

We do not want to rebuild the website from scratch.

Instead, we want someone to:

Review the existing website.
Clean up the existing pages.
Update outdated information.
Correct any obvious errors.
Improve wording and presentation where necessary.
Update images where appropriate.
Check that contact forms work correctly.
Check mobile responsiveness.
Improve basic SEO.
Remove unnecessary plugins or content.
Make small layout improvements where required.

The objective is to make the existing website look clean, professional and up to date, without the cost of a complete redesign.

3. Ongoing Social Media & Digital Marketing

The main requirement is ongoing digital marketing and social media management.

We would like someone who can help us regularly with:

Facebook management.
Instagram management.
Creating and scheduling regular posts.
Creating promotional content.
Improving our social media presence.
Increasing engagement.
Local SEO.
Google Business Profile optimisation.
Basic website SEO.
Content ideas and promotional campaigns.
Monitoring our online presence.
Advising us on ways to generate more enquiries and customers.

We would prefer someone who can provide an ongoing monthly service rather than completing a one-off marketing project.

4. Long-Term Arrangement

Our priority is to find someone reliable who can initially:

Take over the website → Secure domain/WordPress access → Make minor website improvements → Manage social media → Provide ongoing digital marketing

We are not looking for an expensive full website redevelopment at this stage.

If the working relationship is successful, we may consider additional website development and marketing work in the future.
